Mary Elizabeth Hansen, 66, of Archie, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Mary was born July 6, 1953 in Clinton, Missouri, a daughter of Edwin Paul and Ethel Edna (Gregg) Middaugh.  She lived in Harrisonville, Missouri until moving to Archie in 1982. Mary was a 1971 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Mary was united in marriage to Andrew "Andy"   H.  Hansen on September 12, 1984. She and Andy owned and operated AM Steel and Fabrication in Archie until closing the business in 2006.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy, on December 19, 2010; her father, Edwin Paul Middaugh; her mother, Ethel Edna Wisner; a sister, Jennifer L. Middaugh; and a brother, Roger D. Middaugh.

Mary is survived by four daughters: Skiela (Jason) Reynolds, Archie, MO; Cassandra   K.  (Michael) Williams, Archie; Melissa L. Middaugh, Urich, MO; and Michelle Savell, Clarksville, AR;  one  son, Jason Hansen, Pleasant Hill, MO; three brothers: Edwin Paul Middaugh, Houston, TX; Johnnie C. Middaugh, Nixa, MO; and Shaun O'Neal, Aberdeen, WA; two sisters, Patsy A. Wisner,  and Tammy S. Middaugh, both of Harrisonville; eleven grandchildren: Krysten R. Jacobs, Skylar Fikki, Kelsey R. Jacobs, Katelyn R. Jacobs, Madisen E. Middaugh, Caleb M. Williams, Colton A. Williams, Aiden Hansen, Brayden B. Daniels, Jacob B. Reynolds, and Cali Hansen; and three great-grandsons: Kade M. Jacobs, Kameron M. Jacobs, and Karter Andrew James Chapman.
