Mary Helen (Pence) Ebersole, 91 of Harrisonville, MO, formerly of Independence, MO went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Arma, KS.

Mary was born on December 16, 1917 in Barton County, MO the daughter of Elijah and Laura (Dumas) Pence. She married Norman Jones of Arma, KS on December 20, 1937. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1972. Mary was a member of Coventry Estates Baptist Church in Independence, MO.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay Thomure of Lee's Summit, MO; two sons, Ronnie Jones and wife, Joann, of Sheldon, MO and Dennis Jones and wife, Leslie, of Wichita, Kansas; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson, plus three nieces and two nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by one sister, Lorena (Pence) Jones, two brothers, Charley and Harley Pence and a grandson, Travis Jones.
