Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Lou Bricker, 86, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, who left this world peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Health & Rehab in Pleasant Hill, MO. Funeral services were held at  the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Interment in the Raymore Cemetery, Raymore, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Croix Hospice.

Born on February 25, 1939, in Raymore, MO, to Clarence "Glenn" and Margaret (Leutjen) Webb, Mary Lou grew up in Raymore, MO. She was a proud graduate of Grandview High School, Class of 1956. She continued her education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, earning a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She was an active member of the Beta Sigma Psi sorority, forming lifelong bonds and memories with her sisters.

On July 22, 1956, Mary Lou married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Bricker, in Peculiar, MO. Their journey together took them from Columbia, MO, to Raymore, MO, to Belton, MO, to Garden City, MO, to Paola, Kansas, where Mary Lou served as the Miami County treasurer for two terms, demonstrating her commitment to community service. Eventually, they made their way back to Pleasant Hill, MO, where Mary Lou would reside until her passing, leaving a legacy of love and kindness.

Professionally, Mary Lou dedicated many years of her life as an office manager for Bricker Auction Company, where her hard work and unwavering dedication contributed to the family business. She was a vital part of the team, playing a significant role in the community she loved.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert "Bob" Bricker, on December 31, 2023; and her brother, Allan Webb. She is survived by her son, Steve (Cathy) Bricker, of Harrisonville, MO; her daughter, Debi Walthall, of Raymore, MO; her 4 grandchildren: Charity (Ray) Rushly, Brian (Amber) Cronin, Cody (Jamie) Walthall, and Rachel (Clint) Ash; and 14 great-grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, and her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
