Mary Kathryn Branstine, 94 of Harrisonville, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Mary was born January 24, 1919 in Justin, Texas, the daughter of William Roy and Katie Agnes (Golden) Donald. She was a graduate of Commerce, Oklahoma High School and had lived in Cass County, Missouri since she was 18 years old.

She married Lloyd R. Branstine on May 16, 1948, making their home in Harrisonville for almost 65 years. Mary enjoyed quilting, fishing, traveling, camping and most of all, her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Lenard Sloan, her parents, 2 brothers, Russell and Raymond and her beloved daughter, Cheri L. Middaugh. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd, of the home; her sons, Charles Sloan, Sr. and his wife, Carolyn, Katy, Texas and Dewaine Branstine and his wife, Frances, Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. She will be truly missed.
