Martha Helen Anderson, 74, Lowry City, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, October 20, 2008 in Clinton, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Martha was born February 26. 1934 near Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Walter and Lillie (Skinner) Todd. She married Loren Anderson on July 9, 1950. She worked at General Motors Fairfax plant for eight years and was co-owner of Main City Tavern for 16 years near Drexel, MO. She was a member of Gerster Baptist Church in Gerster, MO.

Martha was preceded by her parents, her husband, Loren, three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Baldwin and her husband, Tom, Ward, AR, Lorena Gorsage and her husband, Calvin, Archie, MO and Martha Hannes and her husband, Jeff, Clinton, MO; one brother, Walter Todd, Jr. and his wife, Gladys, Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren, Mike and Rick Baldwin, Andy Gorsage, Marilyn Carver, Laura Bronson, Daniel Hannes and Helen DeVasher and 11 great-grandchildren.
