Mark Burres, 56, passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at his home in Harrisonville. Graveside inurnment was held May 26, 2018 at Worsley Cemetery in Bronaugh, MO with a Celebration of Life on May 26, at the El Dorado Springs Optimist Club.

Mark was born March 20, 1962 in Kansas City, KS to Lester and Shirley Burres. He was the youngest of four children. He graduated high school from El Dorado Springs in 1981. Mark married Katherine McKinney on May 30, 1981 and two children were born from this union. Mark professed his life to Christ at an early age.

Mark began working alongside his father at a young age in the floor covering business. He later began a career as a Commercial Truck Driver for several years and worked for UPS Freight until his illness forced him to retire. Mark had a love for classic cars, spending time with family, and lots of handyman work around the house.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Burres. He leaves to cherish his loving wife, Katherine, his son, Chase, and daughter, Alindsey. He was proud Papa to two grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his father, Lester Burres of El Dorado Springs, MO and wife, Wilma; two brothers, Randy and Scott Burres, and one sister, Sherri, along with several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
