Marjorie Helen Kropf, 84, Harrisonville, MO, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Marjorie was born October 13, 1924 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Paul Virgil and Lucy May (Davis) Mudd. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville. She was a 1942 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She married Jack Monroe Kropf on February 1, 1946.
Marjorie worked as a machinist at Bendix in Dept. 61 from 1958 until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers #314, the Harrisonville First Baptist Church and the Harrisonville VFW Auxiliary.
Marjorie was preceded in death by parents and one son, Kevin Mason Kropf. She is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home; one son, Kirby M. Kropf of Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Karen L. Myers of Harrisonville, MO and Kelly L. Howard of Urich, MO; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
