Marilynn Rose Lutes, 78, of Raymore, MO, formerly of Greenwood, MO, passed away on November 1, 2020 at her home.  Graveside services were held Friday, November 6, 2020 at Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.

Marilynn was born June 2, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Otis and June (Heckman) Arbuckle.  She lived in North Kansas City for 25 years and was a 1960 graduate of North Kansas City High School.  She was united in marriage to Eugene  "Gene" Neil Lutes August 25, 1964 at the North Cross United Methodist Church in Kansas City, MO.  Marilynn had lived in Grandview, Belton and Greenwood, before moving to Raymore 3 years ago.

She was a homemaker, and worked part time in the cafeteria for the Hickman Mills School District in Kansas City for 30 years until her retirement in 2015.  Marilynn was a former member of the Grandview Nazarene Church, and a current member of the First Baptist Church in Peculiar, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eugene, January 8, 2005.  Marilynn is survived by two sons: David (Leslie) Lutes, Renton, WA; and Marlin (Johnna) Lutes, Greenwood, MO; a brother, Roger Arbuckle, Gladstone, MO; a brother-in-law, Don (Debbie) Lutes, Mt. Grove, MO; her longtime care giver, Sue Cross, Raymore; and six grandchildren: Theron Lutes, Christian Lutes, Dylan Lutes, Michael Lutes, Shainna Freeman, and Hailey Freeman.
