Marie F. Fisher, 89, of Raymore, MO, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, MO. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 11, 2023  at Lee's Summit Christian Church in Lee's Summit, MO. Interment,  folllowing the service, in Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.

Marie was born June 6, 1934 in Harrisonville, MO, a daughter of Charles Sylvester and Opal Adaline (Wagner) Atkinson. She spent her early years in the Harrisonville area, attending grade school at Bill's Rural School #90. She was a 1952 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Marie was united in marriage to James L. Fisher on June 26, 1954 at the Freeman, MO Christian Church. They celebrated 69 years of marriage this year. They had lived in Raytown, MO for thirty-two years before moving to Raymore in 1994. Marie was a lifelong member of the Christian Church, and most recently a member of the Lee's Summit Christian Church. She had previously attended the Harrisonville, Freeman, Swope Park and Broadview Christian Churches. She and Jim were dedicated "Snow Birds," enjoying winters in Arizona and Florida for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Dixie Kirk and Charlene Tirey; and a son-in-law, Mike Radcliff. Marie is survived by her husband, Jim Fisher, Raymore, MO; her son, James "Jim" Fisher Jr., and his wife, Tanya, Raymore, MO; her daughter, Sherry Radcliff, Overland Park, KS; her sister, Louise Oringderff, Columbia, MO; four grandchildren: Erin (Kevin) Kuchenrither, Matt (Megan) Fisher, Brett Radcliff, Tara (Brandon) Barber; and five great-grandchildren: Reece, Adalene, Charley, Jaxon, and Noah.
