Marian Lois Howard, 91, of Freeman, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 at her home in Freeman. Funeral services were held  Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Marian was born May 16, 1932 in Lincoln, Nebraska, a daughter of Clarence and Myrtle (Whittington) King. Marian grew up in Kansas City, MO and was a 1950 graduate of Paseo High School. She was a competitive roller skater in the Kansas City area for a number of years. Marian worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was a member of the Freeman Baptist Church in Freeman, MO.

Marian was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. She is survived by two sons: Brad Howard, Freeman, MO; and Mark Howard, Lathrop, MO; and six grandchildren: Taylor, Dallas, Heather, Kevin, Avalon, and Bradley.
