Margaret Lea Spears, 80, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri. No visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice.

Margaret was born May 3, 1932 in Pittsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Charley Elko and Grace Etoula (Smith) Dinwiddie. She was a graduate of Kansas City High School. Margaret had worked in a day care center in Grandview, taking care of infants. She attended First Baptist Church in Peculiar.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rowlan on October 31, 1995, brothers, Richard Eugene Dinwiddie and Roy Martin Dinwiddie, grandson, Mark Daniel Spears and granddaughter, Cheyenne Hibdon. She is survived by her children, Rose Marie and Garry Redding, Ronald Ray and Taletha A. Spears, Deborah Dawn and Bill Plunkett, Kathryn Susan and Michael Breiner, Gary Linden Spears, Randall Lee and Melissa Spears and Charles Jeffery and Tonya Spears; brother, Charles Rosco and Norma Dinwiddie and sister, Polly Jane and Charles David Hineman; 31 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren.
