Margaret Jean Hedrick, 82, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, February 18, 2013 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, Independence, Missouri.

Margaret was born October 15, 1930 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of George August and Mable T. (Ephland) Unnewehr. She was a 1949 graduate of Archie High School and was a lifelong Cass County, Missouri resident. Margaret worked for several local and county restaurants. She was a former member of Archie Christian Church.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Hedrick, stepson, Robert N. Hedrick, Jr. and one brother, John Unnewehr. She is survived by one son, Frank Yoder, Lone Jack, Missouri; one stepson, Ron Hedrick, Amsterdam, Missouri; three daughters, Patty Hedrick, Fair Grove, Missouri, Sandi Larsen, Harrisonville, Missouri, Jennifer Wade, Parkville, Missouri; one stepdaughter, Kay Pope, Archie, Missouri; one brother, Fred Unnewehr, McAllen, Texas; three sisters, Virginia Reeder, Overland Park, Kansas, Georgia Foote, Archie, Missouri and Betty Calhoon, Kansas City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
