Makayla Rochelle Reynolds, 20, Lee's Summit, MO, died Saturday, February 18, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 21 at the Atkinson Funeral Home.

Makayla was born August 29, 1996 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of John and Cynthia (Bailey) Russback. She was a 2015 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She then attended and graduated from the Lee's Summit Dental Academy. She had lived in Raymore, MO and Lee's Summit before moving to Harrisonville, where she lived for four years. She had lived in Lee's Summit for the last two years.

Makayla married Mark Reynolds on July 2, 2016 in Independence, MO. She worked as a customer service representative for Hawthorne Bank in Lee's Summit for four years. Makayla was a member of Rock Brook Church in Belton, MO. She loved the Lord and radiated his light to all who knew her. We know she is with Him, and we will see her again one day.

Makayla is survived by her husband, Mark Reynolds, of the home; her father, John Russback and step-mother, Tamarha, Lee's Summit, MO; her mother, Cynthia "Cindy" Forbes and her step-father, Terry, Independence, MO; two brothers, Jesse Gartman (Emily), Peculiar, MO and Joshua Gartman (Andrea), Wichita, KS; one sister, Makenzie Russback, Lee's Summit, MO; step-sister, Taylor Forbes, Independence, MO; paternal grandparents, Charles and Martha Russback, Raymore, MO; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Elna Bailey, Mobile, AL; four uncles, Rodney Bailey (Phyllis), Greg Bailey (Nancy), Frank Bailey (Nicole), and David Russback (Sarah); three aunts, Gwen Braden (Steve), Nancy Smith (Carl), and Charlene "Kay" Neighbors (Steve); five nephews, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.
