Mabelle J. Morton, 94, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 am at Restoration Church, 15008 E 35th St, Independence, MO 64055.

Mabelle was born on July 30, 1930, in Woodhull, Illinois. She married Wayne McKie and they had 2 children, Richard and Patricia. She later married John Morton and he preceded her in death.

Mabelle was a Presbyterian and active in her church for many years. She dearly loved her family and friends. She is survived by son, Richard (Ann) McKie; her daughter, Patricia (Bob) Jones; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
