Mabel Marie Wiggins, 90, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. No visitation. Burial will be the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 22500 East 299th Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701.

Mabel was born April 21, 1918 in Lisle, MO, the daughter of Olen and Ada (Pence) Musick. She was a graduate of Drexel High School. She had lived in Lisle and Drexel, MO before moving to Harrisonville. Mabel married Ira Faye Tipton and later married Harry L. Wiggins.

Mabel was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Harrisonville and the Harrisonville Senior Citizens. She worked for Bendix for 20 years before retiring as an Inspector in 1972. She also worked hard as a farmer's wife.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Ira Faye Tipton on January 5, 1984 and Harry L. Wiggins on November 20, 2005 and five brothers & sisters. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
