Sue was born October 11, 1935 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of John Arthur and Florence May (Loftus) Rinehart. Lucy Jane was her given name but you didn't want to call her anything but Sue unless you were ready for a fight. Sue was a graduate of East High School in Kansas City, MO.

She spent most of her life caring for her family and her home and several animals that she loved very much. She was united in marriage to Ernest Frank Snuggs on July 22, 1965. When Sue and Ernie got married, Sue had 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls. Ernie had 1 girl so they had their hands full. They lived in the Kansas City area until 1969, then moved to the Freeman area until 1989 and then moved to the Adrian area.

Sue loved kids and animals. If either one was hungry or needed a place to stay, all they had to do was show up at Sue's house and they had it made. In Sue's younger days, she could make the best homemade bread from scratch and cakes, too, but if you wanted a homemade pie, you had better ask Ernie, because Sue could not make pie worth eating. In Sue's heart, kids and animals came first, then she took care of her needs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ernie, several other family members and friends. She is survived by three daughters, Jaunita Butler, Marsha LaFollette of the home and Nancy Rick; four sons, Jerry Randall, Gary Randall, Donald Leffingwell and John Randall; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Stanley Rinehart, Larry Rinehart and William "Bill" Vacca and one sister, Parma Lee Paul.
