LuAnne Lynn Denny, 33, Kansas City, MO, died Monday, January 28, 2008 at the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO with visitation 12:30-1:00 at the chapel. Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Contributions may be made to the funeral home.

LuAnne was born March 11, 1974 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Harold Keith and Carol Jean (Henry) Leffew. She married Robert Leroy Denny, Jr. on June 24, 2006 in Freeman, MO. LuAnne liked to cook, watch movies and make cards to send to her friends (especially the little ones!). She knew how important and special it made the children feel, to get their own mail. LuAnne loved furry animals. She had one cat named, Lucki, who was her baby. She loved to smile, because she knew that when you smile at someone, you usually get one back.

LuAnne was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis James Leffew and her husband, Robert Denny, on December 16, 2007. She is survived by her father, Harold K. Leffew; her mother, Carol Jean Leffew; two step-daughters, Adrienne Marie Denny and Tiffany Denny; step-granddaughter, Aubri Jordan Denny; two brothers, Joel Scott Leffew and Galen Leffew; two nieces, Tyffany Wiley and Amanda Leffew. LuAnne hopes that she will be remembered as a kind person with a loving heart.
