Obituary
Loyd Edward McGraw, 73, Adrian, MO, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Crystal Manor of Adrian in Adrian, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Loyd was born January 9, 1938 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Lloyd Edward and Fern Aleta (Sweetwood) McGraw. He was a 1956 graduate of Harrisonville High School.
Loyd was a U. S. Navy veteran, entering the service on May 23, 1956. He served on Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown until his discharge on May 26, 1959. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver.
Loyd was preceded in death by parents. He is survived by one son, Jim McGraw, Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Sena McGraw, Oregon and Natasha Beggiani of Ridgeland, Mississippi and six grandchildren.
