Lorraine was born February 27, 1936 in Menahga, Minnesota, the daughter of Clarence and Florence (Kimball) Hasbargen of Menahga, Minnesota. Don and Lorraine were married June 20, 1953 in Menahga, Minnesota on Lorraine's family's farm. They lived in Klickitat, Washington where Don worked for J. Niels Lumber Company as a crane operator. After Lorraine retired, they spent their active retirement years in Yuma, Arizona and Park Rapids, Minnesota.
