Loneta Irene Bruce, 78, Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home. Graveside services were held Monday, December 4, 2017 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions to Serenity Care Hospice.

Loneta was born December 31, 1938 in St. Paul, KS, the daughter of Don V. and Violet M. (Kennedy) Moses. She married G. L. Bruce on March 13, 1965 in Paola, KS. She had lived in Greenwood, MO and Pleasant Hill, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 1986.

Loneta was an LPN at the state hospital in Osawatomie, KS and had worked as a Certified Medical Technician (CMT) for Camden, Crown Care and Beautiful Savior nursing homes. She was a member of East Lynne First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Donald and Dale Moses, and one granddaughter. Loneta is survived by her husband, G. L., of the home; one son, Timothy McCoy and wife, Karen, Erie, KS; two daughters, Deborah Egner, Harrisonville, MO and Dawnita Phillips (Scott), Drexel, MO; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
