Obituary

Lois Marie Moles, 95, Adrian, MO, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Medicalodge of Butler, in Butler, MO.  Private family services to be held at a later date.

Lois, the second of six children, was born to Charles and Ruth Neely on February 26, 1925.  She grew up during the depression and lived many different places in her childhood.  She graduated from Ballard High School in 1942.  Lois married Clyde Moles in 1944 and to this union two children were born.

Lois worked as a receptionist, a secretary, and later a case worker for The Division of Family Services, where she retired in 1987.  She and Clyde enjoyed camping, fishing, and exploring Missouri sights.  Lois was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She taught all the grandkids to cook, paint, sew, and jump on the bed.  She was an excellent seamstress, and made most of her children's and her own clothing.  She was a self-taught painter, and for many years her paintings were displayed at the Butler Art Show.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Clyde, daughter, Peggy, her parents, and two brothers, Herb and Jim.  She is survived by son, Bob and wife Debbie, son-in-law Stanley, grandchildren, Jackie, Kori, Jesse, Adam, Eric, and Clayton, 16 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and sisters, Lea, Jackie, and Betty.
