Linda Ann (Henderson) Smith, 51, Raytown, MO, died Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. A celebration service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at the First Christian Church in Olathe, KS with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
Linda was born July 21, 1959 in Escondido, CA, the daughter of Doyle and Bernice (Kniesley) Henderson. Linda had lived in the Kansas City area most of her life and was a 1977 graduate of Olathe High School. She was the membership coordinator for the American Academy Of Family Physicians for 17 years. She was united in marriage to Dan Smith on December 26, 1992. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jodi Jenkins. Survivors include her husband, Dan, of the home, her sister, Candi Scavuzzo, and husband David, Harrisonville, MO. her mother and step-father Bernice and Jack Day, Olathe, Kansas, and her father and step-mother, Doyle and Melva Henderson, Shady Cove, Oregon.
