Linda Lou Rogers, 84, of Belton, Missouri, peacefully passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Belton Regional Hospital in Belton, MO. As per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.

Born on June 5, 1941, in Harrisonville, MO, Linda was the daughter of Earl Scott and Thelma (Dutro) Miller. Growing up in Lee's Summit, MO, Linda's passion for education shone brightly from a young age. After graduating from Lee's Summit High School in 1959, she continued her education at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Her love for teaching led her to inspire countless young minds in schools across Des Moines, Iowa, and Billings, Montana. Linda ultimately returned to her roots, dedicating many years of her life to teaching First, Third, and Fifth grades at various elementary schools in the Lee's Summit area, with her final teaching assignment at Greenwood Elementary School.

Linda had lived in Oak Grove, MO, for over 20 years before she made the heartfelt decision to relocate to Belton, where she continued to enjoy life surrounded by family and friends. Linda's warmth, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her students and family will be deeply missed. She cherished each moment spent with loved ones and had a unique ability to touch the lives of those around her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a sister, Sue Taylor, Lee's Summit, MO; a brother, Gary Miller, Harrisonville, MO; her daughter, Lorinda Schrader, Grain Valley, MO; and a granddaughter, Samantha Schrader, Grain Valley, MO.
