Linda Grace Payne, 67, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Linda was born December 27, 1946 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Edgar and Wilma Alliene (Jones) Cage. She was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville and was a 1965 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She married John Wilson Payne, Jr. on June 23, 1963. Linda worked for Cass Medical Center in housekeeping for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John on September 15, 2011. She is survived by one son, John C. Payne (Jamie), Harrisonville; three daughters, Charlotte Holden (Gerald), Garden City, Missouri, Teresa Payne (Tony), Harrisonville and Patty Payne (Robert), Belton, Missouri; two brothers, Evart Cage (Becky), Harrisonville and Steven Cage (Gail), Independence, Missouri; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
