Linda Sue Laughlin, 60, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  Funeral services were held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Archie, MO with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Linda was born January 26, 1959 in Paola, KS, a daughter of Richard Earl and Ruth (Melchert) Hocker.  She was a 1977 graduate of Archie High School.  She married Dennis E. Laughlin on October 14, 1977 at the First Baptist Church in Archie, officiated by Denny Rives.  Linda had worked for Lake City for 36 years as an explosive technician before retiring in 2017.  She was a lifelong Cass County resident.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hocker, her twin sons, and a brother, Terry Hocker.  She is survived by her husband, Dennis, of the home; one son, Clint Laughlin (Susan) and one daughter, Kendra McCullough, all of Garden City, MO; her mother, Ruth Hocker of Pleasant Hill, MO; three brothers, Ronald Hocker (Linda), Phoenix, AZ, Larry Hocker (Phyllis), Webb City, MO, and Charlie Hocker (Cheryl), Overland Park, KS; a sister-in-law, Pam Hocker, Lee's Summit, MO; 4 grandchildren, Hailey Laughlin, Kaden Laughlin, Lexi McCullough, and Marley McCullough.
