Linda Gayle (Best) Knoll, 59, Adrian, Missouri, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at her home surrounded by her family. She died from complications due to breast cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Belton Assembly of God, Belton, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 at the church. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery in Amsterdam, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Belton Assembly of God, Heartland Hospice or Gideon International.

Linda was born January 26, 1955 in Mountain View, Arkansas, the daughter of Kenneth and Edith (Corder) Best.  She graduated high school in 1973 from Lexington, Missouri.  She graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, Class of 1978. She became a teacher of early education. She married Steve Knoll in 1979; they had two children, Heather and Geoffrey.

She was a pastor's wife for 34 years and very involved in children's ministry, as well as in various ministry positions in the church. Those who knew her loved her. She had an infectious laugh and was always smiling. She was the perfect wife, mother, nanny and friend.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Best. She is survived by her husband, Steve, of the home; one son, Geoff Knoll, (Magen) Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Heather Ball, (Tim) Kansas City, Missouri; her mother, Edith Best, Springfield, Missouri; two brothers, Darrell (Linda) Best, Springfield, Missouri and Roger Best (Judy), Little Rock, Arkansas; and 5 grandchildren, Josh, Caleb, Huck, Rafi and Jesse.
