Linda Dian Hessefort, 50, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held January 17 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, officiated by Rev. Raymond Hundley, Lee's Summit, MO. Eulogist was Pastor Darren Widner, Crossroads Assembly, Harrisonville. Music by Bob Wykoff, Janean Glaubitz and Gerri Coulter, vocalists and Patty Weiss, pianist. Honorary casket bearers were Delbert Lee Hannah, Jr., Rickey Green David Green and Tommy Johnson. Casket bearers were Dustin Eckhoff, Tim Dickman, Leroy Hannah, Jr., Kent Hessefort, Scott Hessefort and Tim Cobb. Burial was in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to Crossroads Assembly Building Fund.

Linda was born February 2, 1956 in Harrisonville, the daughter of Russell Leroy and Frances Irene (Anderson) Hannah. She was a 1974 graduate of Harrisonville High School and was lifelong resident of Harrisonville. She married Dale Hessefort on August 2, 1986.

Linda worked as office manager for R. L. Hannah Trucking in Harrisonville for 18 years. She was a member of First Assembly Church in Raytown, MO and had been attending Crossroads Assembly for the last two years.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Russell, on November 27, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Dale, of the home; one stepdaughter, Markie McSwain, Willard, MO; her mother, Frances Hannah, Harrisonville, MO; two brothers, Russell Leroy Hannah, Garden City, MO and Delbert Lee Hannah, Harrisonville, MO; one sister, Sharon Kay Green, Harrisonville, MO and four grandchildren, Rochelle, Cody, Cheyenne and Skye.
