Lila Jane "Sue" Kipper, 72, of Harrisonville, MO died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Haven, P.O. Box 754, Harrisonville, MO.

Sue was born June 6, 1937 in Berwin, Illinois to John and Harriet (Hippert) Gilfillan. She recently worked at Hope Haven in Harrisonville and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son, Jim Kipper and wife, Debbie of Shawnee, KS; four daughters, Sue Kalwei and husband, Bob of Harrisonville, MO, Katie Elliott and husband, Brian of Raymore, MO, Ann Krull and husband, Mark of Overland Park, KS and Jennifer Bustamonte of Olathe, KS; one brother, John Gilfillan and wife, Sandy of Boulder, CO; one sister, Maribeth Dunkley of Oak Park, IL; 12 grandchildren, Kristi Adair and husband, Mike, Kerry Grooms, Morgan Elliott, Michael and Madison Krull, Ian MacAdam, Kennedy Krull, Anna, Abby, Allie and Ashley Pifer and Lexi Bustamonte; 2 great-grandsons, Kage and Owen Adair; and nieces and nephews.
