LeRoy H. Sayler, age 102, Buffalo, MO, formerly of Archie, MO, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his home.  Graveside services were held Monday, August 27, 2018 at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

LeRoy was born July 3, 1916 in Dent, Idaho, the son of Lewis and Dollie Faye (Osborn) Sayler. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.  LeRoy was a lumberjack, and owned and operated a saw mill in Idaho.  He was also a heavy equipment operator for a road construction company, and owned and operated his own backhoe service in Fordland, MO.  He married Lila Marie Bronson on October 5, 1987.  LeRoy had lived in Idaho, Archie, MO, Holden, MO, and Independence, MO before moving to Buffalo in 2000.  He was a member of The Church Of Christ.

LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife, Lila, on December 1, 1997.  He is survived by a son, Wayne Sayler, Buffalo, MO; a sister, Odeta Laws, Lewisville, ID; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
