Leo "Dale" Gregg, 91, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society in Dale's name.

Dale was born October 1, 1931 to Royal Herman and Ethel Irene (Barnard) Gregg in Henry County, MO. He married the love of his life, Allie Mae Thornton, on March 3, 1951. He spent his career as a production worker for Quisenberry Feed Mill in Kansas City, MO, working for 37 years before retiring in 1993. Dale also worked for Schrock Welding in Garden City, MO for 4 years.

He lived in Clinton before moving to Harrisonville in 1958, where he and Allie made their home and raised their two boys. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Harrisonville and the Antioch Southern Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing cards, especially a game of Poker, any chance he could, including up to the Friday night before his passing. Dale used to enjoyed dancing with Allie, being quite graceful at the Waltz. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Dale is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Allie Mae Gregg, on May 9, 2017; his parents; his brothers: Homer Gregg, Clifton Gregg, Donald Gregg, and Cecil Gregg; and his sister, Lucille Rosson. He is survived by his sons: Billy (Nola) Gregg and Doug Gregg; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and his sisters: Ruby Westmoreland and Wilma Fane.
