Obituary
Lee Allen Holbrook, 68, Archie, MO, died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO.
Lee was born November 3, 1943 in Independence, MO, the son of Cecil William and Grace Avalyn (Ellsworth) Holbrook. He married Christine Kendrick on February 12, 1966 at the United Methodist Church in Archie. Lee was a lifelong resident of Archie.
Lee worked as a machinist and welder for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent from 1965 until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Archie. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Christine, of the home; one daughter, Crystal Peterson, Valley, NE; one sister, Judy Kenter, Roach, MO and one grandson, T. J. Peterson.
