Lee Earl Gaddy, 75, Freeman, MO, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home.  A memorial visitation was held Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Lee was born June 29, 1946 in Bolivar, MO, a son of Willie Huston and Jessie May (Vest) Gaddy.  He was a 1964 graduate of Cass-Midway High School.  He was a life-long resident of the Freeman, MO area.  Lee married Janet Irene Knox on February 6, 1971 at the Freeman Baptist Church, by Bro. Joe Brewster.  Lee was a U. S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.  When he returned home from the military, he worked for Western Electric.  Lee then worked in machine maintenance for Sioux Chief in Peculiar, MO for 23 years, retiring in 2012.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Laverne Snyder, and one nephew, Jason Hayes.  He is survived by his wife, Janet, of the home; one brother, Bill Gaddie, Freeman, MO; two sisters, Ruby Green (Henry) and Eva Duncan (Kenny), all of Freeman, MO; 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
