Lealyn "Lee" Lightcap, 64, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.

Lee was born November 6, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Forrest Lee and Merle R. (Huffman) Lightcap. He was united in marriage to Marcia Hershberger on May 17, 1985 in Belton, Missouri. Lee was a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. He worked for Bendix/Honeywell as a machinist, retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Machinists Local Union, Kansas City, Missouri. Lee was a lifelong resident of Cass County, Missouri.

Lee was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Lightcap. He is survived by his wife, Marcia, of the home; one son, Gordon "Tony" Lightcap, Harrisonville; one daughter, Aimee Haley, Rogers, Arkansas; one stepson, Vince Remshak, Harrisonville; one stepdaughter, Lesa Locke, Belton; his mother, Merle Lightcap, Belton, Missouri; four sisters, Bea Diamond, Harrisonville, Vicki Wilber, Belton, Ginger Fox, Diberville, Mississippi, and Lois New, Pleasanton, Kansas, and 6 grandchildren.
