LaVon Jean "Bonnie" Plunkett, 71, of Peculiar, MO, died Fiday, May 7, 2010 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO. Visitation Tuesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Pculiar Cemetery, Peculiar, MO. Bonnie was born February 4, 1939 in Appleton City, MO, the daughter of Lewis and Mary (Murray) Cobb. She married Donald Eugene Plunkett on January 3, 1959.
Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Peculiar. She worked at Sprint from 1991-2001 before retiring. She was also a homemaker.
LaVon was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Don of the home; one son, Travis Plunkett and his wife, Holly of Springfield, MO; three daughters, Patricia Hooper and her husband, Clint and Pamela Henuber and her husband, Ed, all of Peculiar, MO and Paula Sundquist and her husband, Mark of Raymore, MO; one brother, Wayne Cobb of Harrisonville, MO and eight grandchildren, Christin Hooper, Caleb Hooper, Edward Henuber, Kaitlyn Henuber, Jeremy Kauffman, Kylee Kauffman, Mitch Sundquist and Max Sundquist.
