It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laverna Mae Hayes, who departed from this world on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 28, 1941, in Martin City, Missouri, Laverna lived a life dedicated to caring for others, serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the healthcare field. Her compassionate spirit and nurturing soul touched the lives of many throughout her years.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be cremation will take place and no formal services will be held.
