Laura Elaine Mohler, 58, Drexel, MO, died Sunday, March 11, 2018 at her home. Funeral services were held Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Laura was born December 30, 1959 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Harold and June Hasting. She grew up in Augusta, KS. Laura was a 1977 graduate of Augusta High School. She worked at the Dairy Queen while in high school. She married Danny E. Mohler on September 30, 1977 at the Christian Church in Augusta. Laura moved to Missouri in 1989 where she worked for Peterson Mfg. until 1997, when they opened their own construction cleaning business. In 2005, she went to work at the Drexel post office and transferred to the Freeman Post Office in 2006. She also cleaned houses for several years.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Danny, on April 14, 2017, a daughter, Amy, on November 10, 2001, two sisters, Lynn and Kathy, and two brothers, Larry and Ray.. She is survived by one son, Danny Mohler, Drexel, MO.
