Larry Leon Moles, 76, of Garden City, Missouri died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services were held Monday, November 27, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Missouri.
Larry was born May 31, 1941 in Cass County Missouri to Arthur Alvis and Leona Mildred (Corwine) Moles. On June 20, 1959 he was united in marriage to Joyce D. Spurgeon in Miami, Oklahoma. He retired from the Ford Motor Company, Kansas City in 1989. He was a member of the Local Union #249. After retiring he drove a school bus for the Harrisonville Schools. He also worked for John Deere of Harrisonville. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in his shop and repairing small engines.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Chris Moles in 2002; and one brother, Dennis Moles. He is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; two daughters, Karen Bryant (Ronny) of Harrisonville, Missouri and Kim Jones (Brad) of Garden City, Missouri; two brothers, Daymond Moles (Sharon) of Harrisonville, Missouri and Keith Moles (Joann) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri: one sister Bea Perdue of Harrisonville, Missouri: six grandchildren, Shawn Bryant (Candice), Sabrina Bryant, Kyle Moles (Kelli), Dan Moles (Melissa), Andy Bunch and Amy Sevy (Tyler); four great-grandchildren, Logyn, Dane, Hunter and Madison; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
