Larry Curtis Crowder, 62, Cleveland, Missouri, died Thursday, February 18, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Larry was born May 9, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Lyle Curtis and Hazel B. (Mudd) Crowder. He had lived in Harrisonville and Peculiar, Missouri, before moving to Cleveland. He married Wanda L. Irvin on May 22, 1976. Larry drove a truck for Ford Trucking and Helt Sod Farms. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry James Crowder, and one brother, Dale Crowder. Larry is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; one son, Jason Crowder, Cleveland, Missouri; one daughter, Heather Davis (Derek), Louisburg, Kansas; one sister, Patti Baker (Rex), Archie, Missouri; two brothers, Edward "Eddie" Crowder, Belton, Missouri and Gary Crowder (Kim), Harrisonville, Missouri, and 7 grandchildren, Courtney, Alex, Alpine, Hailey, Kendal, Brady, and Damien.
