Larry Eugene Cahow, 68, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Research Medical Center. Larry will be inurned at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. at 2:00 PM.
Larry was born on March 28, 1958, in Kansas City, MO, to Harold and Doris (Myers) Cahow. Larry spent his formative years in the heart of Missouri and graduated from Weaubleau High School, laying the foundation for a life dedicated to service and community.
Larry devoted his career to the United States Department of Agriculture, where he worked as a Marketing Specialist. Throughout his years at the USDA, he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues, often bringing joy to the workplace with his passion for music. Larry was known for his guitar playing and soulful singing.
Larry's love for his family was profound. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cahow, and two sisters, Sharon and Roberta. He is remembered fondly by his life partner, Wilma Hutchison; his devoted mother, Doris Cahow; and his brother, Bill Cahow. Larry held a special place in the hearts of his many nieces and nephews, who cherished their time with him.
Larry's warmth, humor, and passion for music touched the lives of so many, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.
