Kristine Lynn Smith, 52, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, April 29, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.  Memorial services were held on Friday, May 3, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.

Kristine was born April 27, 1967 in Des Moines, IA, a daughter of Gary K. and Mary A. (Merts) Black.  She grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Des Moines West High School.  She had lived in Bethany, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 2011.  Kristine worked as a facility manager for Premium Standard Pork Production Farms in Princeton, MO.

Kristine was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her companion, Rich Kimball, Harrisonville, MO; two sons, Danny Smith (Sarah), Harrisonville, MO and Ryan Smith (Megan), Raymore, MO; two step-sons, Cody Smith, Bethany, MO and London Kimball, Harrisonville; step-daughter, Jessica Smith, Cameron, MO; and five grandchildren, Kinsley, Braylee, Dexter, Charles, and Anthony.
