Kitty E. Reynolds, 81, of Belton, Missouri, left this world on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the home of Yvonne Newell, 19508 S. Sunshine Ln, Peculiar, MO 64078. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Harrisonville Animal Shelter. 

Born on August 23, 1944, in Canton, Illinois, to Jack and Becky (West) Stewart, Kitty lived a life filled with love, family, and tireless dedication to her work and community. Kitty, a beloved wife and mother, married her soulmate, Henry Reynolds, on September 7, 1962, in Creighton, MO. Together, they nurtured a family that expanded to include their son and grandchildren. They made their home in Harrisonville and Kitty worked for a few years at the Harrisonville Junior High School in the kitchen.

In 2000, Kitty and Henry moved to Colorado, where she embraced the beauty of the mountains and the warmth of the community. Kitty dedicated 14 years of her career as a cashier at a local farm store in Colorado where her friendly smile and kind heart made a lasting impression on customers and coworkers alike. After two decades, they relocated to Belton, MO in 2020, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her.

Kitty is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry; her son, Henry II; her grandchildren, Dustin and Julia; as well as, her sister, Dottie Stewart, and many nieces and nephews. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
