Kimberly Ann George, 33, Peculiar, Missouri, died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kimberly A. George Memorial Fund, c/o Hawthorn Bank, P.O. Box 489, Harrisonville, MO 64701.

Kimberly was born June 23, 1980, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William David and Ann (Fulton) George. She was raised in Harrisonville, Missouri, and was a member of the class of 1998, Harrisonville High School.

She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, and friend with a beautiful smile and contagious laugh. Everyone who knew Kim knew her love for animals, willingness to always help, and most of all her huge heart and fun-loving spirit. She will most definitely be missed by many.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles M. George, maternal grandmother, Peggy A. Fulton and maternal grandfather, Charles D. Fulton. She is survived by her father and stepmother, William David and Kristi George, Warsaw, Missouri; mother, Ann George, Harrisonville; fiancé, Mark Young, Peculiar, Missouri; brother, Charles George, Harrisonville; sister, Mary Cage and husband Nathan and two nephews, Dalton and Cole, all of Archie, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Carol George, Harrisonville; as well as many other loving family members.
