Kevin Neil Burke, 51, Peculiar, MO, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services 7:30 PM Friday, February 1, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 6:30-7:30 PM at the chapel.

Kevin was born June 20, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Kenneth Charles and Thelma L. (Hiatt) Burke. Kevin married Roxann Lee Patras on August 22, 1994. Kevin had lived in Belton, MO before moving to Peculiar. He worked for United Rental as a mechanic for over 20 years before retiring.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Roxann, of the home; three sons, Kyle Burke and his wife, Alison, and Trevor Burke, all of Peculiar, MO; Kendall Burke, Raymore, MO; two stepsons, Clint Smith, Peculiar, MO and Jesse Smith, Riverside, MO; one stepdaughter, April Smith, Peculiar, MO; his mother, Thelma Burke, Belton, MO; two sisters, Linda Stanfield, Belton, MO and Patricia Smith, Jacksonville, FL and four grandchildren.
