Keith Faron Carr, 64, Cleveland, MO, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018, at his home. A celebration of his life was held May 12, 2018.
Keith was born in Silvis, Illinois, a son of Donald and Joan (Bushong) Carr. He was a 1972 graduate of Cardinal High School in Eldon, Iowa. Keith started working for United Telephone as a lineman in 1975 and in 2016, after over 40 years, retired as Director of Field Operations - Support. Over the years, Keith worked and lived in Chaska, MN; Clinton, MO; Harrisonville, MO; Monroe, LA; and Gardner, KS. He moved to Cleveland in 2015.
Keith was united in marriage to Sally M. Miksch, February 6, 1988, in Iowa.
He was the sound and lighting technician for a number of bands, including The Boomerangs, The Outtakes, That 70's Band, and Ryze.
Keith is survived by his wife, Sally Carr, Cleveland, MO; two sons, Michael (Kara) Carr, Spring Hill, KS; and Christopher (Dani) Carr, Harrisonville, MO; a daughter, Erin (Jeff) Lawrence, Kansas City, MO; his mother, Joan (Jim) Smith, Owasso, OK; a sister, Peggy Wilburn, Hartsburg, MO; and three grandchildren, Dylan Lawrence, Miles Carr, and Adrienne Carr.
