Kathryn "Kitty" L. Curtis, 92, Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Golden Years Care Center, Harrisonville. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Friends may call 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the chapel. Kitty was born June 6, 1915 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of James Marion and Agnes (Clements) Phillips. She married Carvis Lee "C. L." Curtis on July 5, 1952 at the Brentwood Baptist Church in Jacksonville.

Kitty lived in Florida before moving to Harrisonville 12 years ago. She had worked for W. T. Grant Department Store. She was baptized in 1953 at the Lovegrove Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. She was a well-versed Bible scholar.

Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, C. L. on December 6, 1995, one son, Phillip Reeves, one brother, Ralph McCall and one sister, Mable Durden. She is survived by one son, Ron Reeves and his wife, Ruth, Harrisonville, MO; one stepdaughter, Barbara A. Ledford, Marietta, GA and many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
