Kathleen "Kathy" Lea Licht, 74, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her home.  No services are scheduled.

Kathy was born January 24, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Louis and Rosemary (Strader) Bender.  The family had moved to La Mirada, CA where she was a graduate of La Mirada High School.  Kathy married Jack Licht on November 24, 1964 in La Mirada.  They moved to Harrisonville in 1975.  Kathy worked for Harrisonville Schools at the Middle School as a baker for 15 years before retiring in 2011.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jack, of the home; three sons, John R. Licht, Jr. (Teresa), Jarrod Licht, both of Harrisonville, MO, and Jim Licht, Pleasant Hill, MO; one daughter, Jennifer Licht, Harrisonville; 5 grandchildren, Ashlie Graves, Dillan Licht, Emily Licht, Savannah Licht, Parker Licht, and one great-granddaughter, McKenna Rushly.
