Kathleen Louise Becker, 78, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Harrisonville, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. Sabina Parish in Belton, MO, with a Celebration of Life immediately following at the family farm in Peculiar.

She was born September 11, 1943 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Leroy James and Mary Theresa (Hamburg) Bossert. She grew up in the Kansas City/Raytown area and was a 1961 graduate of Raytown High School. Kathleen was united in marriage to Richard J. Becker on January 23, 1965. They lived in Grandview before moving to Peculiar in 1976.

Kathleen retired from Wal-Mart after 18 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard, on November 30, 2006. She is survived by a son, Brian Becker, and wife, Andrea, Peculiar, MO; three daughters: Karen Schuster, and husband, Randy, Lee's Summit, MO; Sharon Becker and husband, Gary Griggs, Raymore, MO; and Theresa K. Becker, Lake Forest, CA; 5 grandchildren: Cassandra (Matthew) Phillips, Shaun (Falon) Schuster, Wesson, Elaine, and Evelyn Becker; 1 great-granddaughter, Ella Phillips; and 3 brothers: Raymond Bossert, Winterhaven, Florida; Art Bossert, Tonkawa, OK; and Tom Bossert, Holden, MO.
