Karen A. Frost, 57, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri

She was born November 6, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Philip and Pat (Doyle) Severson.  She was a US Army Veteran, and received her nursing training while in the military.  After her discharge, she worked in various doctor's offices in the area.  She loved helping people, and loved all animals, especially her cats.

She was united in marriage to Donald R. Frost, February 12, 1995, and had lived in Harrisonville since 2000.  She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Harrisonville.

She is survived by her husband, Donny Frost, Harrisonville, her parents, Philip and Pat Severson, Parkville, MO; two sisters, Kristen (Mike)  Hanson, Odessa, MO; and Kim (Mark)  Melancon, Chicago, IL.  Two nephews, six nieces, and other relatives and friends.
