June Alberta Talley, 86, of Adrian, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024 at her home. There will be a private family inurnment at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO.

June was born July 19, 1938 to Bryan Lacy and Jessie Heckadon at home in Passaic, Missouri. She grew up and went to school in Adrian. She married Jackie Vance Talley in 1955, and to this union, they had 4 children: Chuck, Janet, Mitchell, and Steven. June worked as a seamstress at Lacy's Draperies, a family-owned business, in Adrian for nearly 40 years. She was also a jack of all trades, always trying to learn new skills. She loved having her family together and cooking fried chicken and mashed potatoes for everyone. June's cherry pie was a favorite. She could make a meal from anything, even turning a bologna sandwich into a meal for her family. She was a loving Mom, Grandma, and Great-Grandma, who could be found at various sporting events cheering them on. She would also play games with them, or cards and badminton. June also loved to dance.

June is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Steven Talley; granddaughter, Darby Talley; and sister, Betty Lou Jenkins. She is survived by her sons, Chuck Talley and Mitchell Talley; daughter, Janet Moreland; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, Bryan "Jr" Lacy; and her sisters: Fay O'Riley, Alpha Courson, and Bonnie Lacy.
