Julianne Gordon 83, of Independence, Mo passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at NorthCare Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral Serv ices were held Friday, May 27, 2022  at  the Church of Christ-Temple Lot in Independence, MO. Burial in Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, Mo.

Julie was born January 8, 1939 to Virgil and Edith (Smith) Ring in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Westport High School in her teen years. She went on to marry James Gordon on January 24, 1964. They made their home in Independence, Mo. Julianne worked as a receptionists for RLDS Auditorium and was a homemaker at that time caring for her two sons. She joined and became a member of the Church of Christ. She loved doing artwork/painting and enjoyed going on trips with her husband in her younger years. She did some missionary work and went to China for a month to share the Gospel of her Saviour.

Julianne is preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and her husband, James Gordon. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Aaron (Glenda) Gordon Blue Springs, Mo and Nathan Gordon Independence, Mo; as well as, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
